I'm sorry that this post is late. I should have put it up Friday night, but I forgot about it.
Friday was SSR. The topic for this week was to answer the question, "What does this text mean to me?" Text being whatever you read for SSR this week.
Over the weekend you were to do two 5 minute freewrites:
1. Write for 5 minutes about the meaning of one of the two Emerson quotes below
"Every hero becomes a bore at last."
"Every man alone is sincere; at the entrance of a second person, hypocrisy begins."
2. Write for 5 minutes about your observations of people in a PUBLIC place.
